Dislikes: Bears, sleeping rough, letting her emotions get the better of her, unfamiliar social gatherings
Eliza is the youngest daughter of the village healer in Velwall, an otherwise ordinary teenager. Given her father's status, she's picked up a lot of medical knowledge for her young age, and is his unofficial apprentice. She was planning to go to Begara, Azaria's most esteemed university, to study the subject formally, however her plans were disrupted due to an accident involving her elder sister, Fiona, and the Binding.
Despite her youth, Eliza is somewhat cynical for her age, but remains a massive daydreamer, constantly thinking over things and over-analysing situations. As such, she's also quite a worrier.
Two years ago Eliza also started to become affected by the Binding spell, so she hides herself away for one night every month in the Galgiza forest to stop the spell tying her to another against her will.
However, on a night beneath a rare blue moon, things don't quite go to plan, and her life is forever changed...

Dislikes: Sword-fighting, treachery, seafood
Ryan is a lone traveller, earning his way across Azaria as a bounty hunter with his crossbow and trusty horse Cielo. They seem to have been travelling for quite some time, although for what purpose remains a mystery. He seems polite and kind, but he never likes talking about himself, nor about why he seems to be on the run from an unknown enemy.
Ryan is a quiet, reserved type of guy, but he does open up more once he starts talking, and seems to be a very genuine, warm person.
He rescues Eliza from a bear, unwittingly causing her to be Bound to him. Thus Eliza has no choice but to trust him as she is forced to remain by his side.
Even though his mysterious past is about to catch up to him...

Adam is Eliza's childhood best friend. They grew up together in the same village, and have seldom been apart, until Adam turned 16 and joined the local Guardsmen garrison for training to become a soldier like his father and grandfather.
Known for his sarcasm and dry wit, Adam's not the most subtle of characters, and will voice his opinion without restraint, which sometimes lands him in sticky situations.
Of course, the moment he learns Eliza's disappeared, he wastes no time in hunting her down to confirm his suspicions. And finds himself caught up in a most extra-ordinary journey that could change the course of Azaria's future forever...
