The Zodiac Hunters
YA Adventure Fantasy
Zodiac Hunters is the first book of the Zodiac Hunters trilogy, written by me. I started it when I was 16, and hope to complete it soon. If you're interested in how I developed the ideas, click here.
So, what's it all about? Well, if you enjoy Lara Croft or Indiana Jones, mixed in with some riddles, ancient mythology, archaeology, and pirates, then you'll love this!
The story is set in the future, where aeroplanes and cars are relics of the past and travel by the high seas dominates the Earth again.
Book 1: The Zodiac Hunters
What should have been a routine raid on a small church in Lesvos turns into the pirate Kaylen's worst nightmare when he stumbles upon an ancient and powerful artefact; one that leads to an attack on his ship by a monstrous dragon! To make matters worse, his prized pendant is stolen in the battle, forcing Kaylen to embark on a perilous quest. Facing the dangers of the lakes of central Europe, the jungles of southern Egypt and the swampland of eastern India with newfound friends, the reserved guard Seth and feisty thief Midnight, Kaylen is determined to avenge his pride and claim back the only link to his forgotten past.
Coming soon:
Book 2: The Forbidden Mask
The hunt for the Zodiac Artefacts continues! With the Taurus and Gemini relics safely on their side, our trio head over to the oil wastes of Saudia Arabia, the fertile fields of southern Spain, the icy remotes of Siberia and the mountainous trails of Ecuador to get on track of Leo, Virgo, Libra and Scorpio. But Ptyas has some new tricks up his sleeve, and could end up stealing a powerful ally from Kaylen's side...
Book 3: The Twin Talismans
After the madness in Ecuador, our heroes have been thrown into the mists of time! Seth awakes in the midst of the Trojan war; Midnight is caught between the rebel Briton forces and the Roman army; and Kaylen finds himself embroiled in the first and most epic naval battle in history, the Battle of Salamis. And while all that's going on, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius are up for grabs, too. Can the trio overcome adversity and return to the present to find the final Artefact, Pisces, before Ptyas' scheme can come to fruition? Or will their final hurdle prove too much?
